How to Decorate Your Home in One Day

It’s amazing what you can do with one day if you really put your mind into it. Instead of wasting it, why don’t you:

Freshen up the bedroom by:

-Buy some new sheets, pillowcases and a comforter cover? While you are at it, get a great soft throw as well.

-Put some fresh flowers in the nightstand and some nice, expensive scented candles.

-Get some nice massage oils and put it in the nightstand drawer—you’ll never know when you might get lucky.

Brighten up the bathroom by:

-Buy some new towels, a shower curtain and a nice bath rug.

-Replace those tacky builder-standard hardware with antique silver or nickel knobs.

-Get some nice bath oils, soap and scented candles for your bath.

-Get some new faucets that are stylish and functional.

Add some colors to your life:

-Paint your rooms in a beautiful color instead of white.

-Buy some fresh flowers, or if you are a practical, some really expensive silk flowers.

-Hang up some artwork on the walls.

-Get some new home accessories that you can display in group. The more substantial the piece the better.

Update your room:

-Simply by moving furniture and accessories around. You'll be amazed how different things look in different locations.

-Add some throw pillows or slip covers to update a chair or sofa.

-Put some fresh flowers in the room.
